My latest adventure in building my online presence has included getting the SEO plugin from Yoast installed and trying to make sense of it all. A lot has changed since the last time I tried my hand at any type of real effort toward search engine optimization and although I must admit, search results have hugely improved over the years. At the same time, it seems everything I once knew no longer applies. Thus far, what I’ve learned is to make sure I have a meta title & description so I’m doing that then I’ll focus on getting more familiar with all the sea of settings included with this plugin.
Have experience to share with us about using this plugin? I’d love to hear from you!
Hi,
I use yoast SEO and can export and email my settings to you if you are interested.
Your site looks great, Montezuma is a good theme to use.
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
That would be awesome! Do you have any good resources online that you used other than the Yoast site for learning the ins & outs of their SEO plugin?
I’m also interested in the results you’ve seen after implementing Yoast SEO opposed to before if you’d be willing to share? Your site looks awesome, packed full of content so I’m guessing you get a load of traffic. Great job!
Thanks for your help,
Donna
Hello,Donna!
I recently activated this SEO plugin but I still couldn’t get my site strongly indexed on Google. I found your site through Google, so I thought I could really get some help from an expert like you.
Could you please explain me some of the most important steps I should take? I have already uploaded my sitemap on Google. But no avail. 🙁
I have followed the video instructions on the Yoast SEO website for each post & so far that is working out quite well.
